Research Use Only Policy

Scope

This policy governs every product supplied by MaxSpan Peptides. It applies whether or not you read it before ordering, and placing an order constitutes acceptance of it.

Permitted use

All products are supplied strictly for in vitro laboratory research by qualified professionals. Permitted use is limited to bench research, analytical method development, and reference standard applications conducted outside a living organism.

Prohibited use

Products supplied by MaxSpan Peptides are not for:

• human consumption, injection, ingestion, inhalation or topical application
• animal consumption or veterinary application
• clinical, diagnostic or therapeutic use of any kind
• use as a food, drug, cosmetic, or dietary supplement
• resale, redistribution, or repackaging for any of the above

Who may purchase

You must be at least 21 years of age, located in the United States, and purchasing in the capacity of a qualified researcher or on behalf of a research institution. By placing an order you represent that all of that is true.

Your representations

By ordering you represent and warrant that you understand the hazards of handling research chemicals, that you have the facilities and training to handle them safely, that you will not use or permit the use of any product in a manner prohibited above, and that you will not transfer any product to a person who has not made the same representations.

Regulatory status

MaxSpan Peptides is a chemical supplier. It is not a compounding pharmacy as defined under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, nor an outsourcing facility as defined under Section 503B. Products are not FDA-approved drugs and have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration for safety or effectiveness. No product is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Enforcement

We may decline or cancel any order, at any time, for any reason, including where we have reason to believe the material would be used outside this policy. We may also require documentation of research affiliation before fulfilling an order.
